The Taxi Film Production and New Colony teams reached out for some RUCKUS action on the latest Yates brand campaign. Directed by Justin McMillan, our crew worked across multiple styles of executions for three different products under the Yates banner.

Various CG elements are integrated throughout each spot, including imaginary cloth-simulated speech bubbles, 3D character animation and extensive background clean-up.

This campaign also introduces a familiar nemesis for gardens worldwide, “General McThistle”.

This fun character was designed and brought to life for his short screen debut by RUCKUS Studio. Check out the Before and Afters below, and look out for McThistle at your favourite Yates retailer.
