GOVERNMENT

Ruckus Studio values its collaborations with government departments across federal, state, and local levels, helping to bring important messages to the forefront.

RUCKUS is a creative content studio specialising in innovative visual storytelling across all screens and digital mediums.

CASE STUDIES

Walking With Family
Institute for Urban Indigenous Health

RUCKUS was tasked with highlighting the vital role of family bonds in Indigenous communities. Working alongside Redsuit Advertising, we designed and animated culturally diverse families for social media and Aboriginal Health Television (AHTV). We also delivered static outputs for the client’s ongoing marketing efforts.

Early Learning Initiative

Department of Education, Federal

RUCKUS developed a unique animated series for early learning for the Department of Education to promote engaging ways for parents and guardians to teach numeracy among young Australians. The team crafted the series using everyday scenarios to teach the importance of numbers, ensuring broad cultural representation. This engaging animation style reached a wide audience and provided young parents with practical methods to teach their children essential numeracy skills, resonating deeply with young families.

Queensland Fire & Emergency Services
Queensland Government

RUCKUS collaborated closely with QFES and agency partners on the ‘Bushfire: Respect it or Regret it’ campaign, emphasising the importance of preparing your home before bushfire season. The team handled all editing and visual effects, creating CGI fire and embers to achieve the desired impact without the dangers of using real fire, delivering a powerful and visually compelling message.

Rules for Riders

Queensland Government

RUCKUS contributed to the StreetSmarts initiative by creating a unique look and feel for animations that clearly explained essential road safety rules, specifically for users of e-scooters and other mobility devices. This practical education program offers tips and tools to help all road users make our roads safer. Through these engaging and visually distinctive animations, RUCKUS helped empower the community to be more mindful and responsible every time they use the road.

MyFORAGE

Queensland Government

RUCKUS was instrumental in creating a How-To guide video for the MyFORAGE tool, a vital software for the farming and agriculture industries. Working closely with the team at The Long Paddock, a Queensland Government initiative, RUCKUS developed animated visuals using screen recordings of the software, ensuring that the imagery was accurate and the voice-over was clear and engaging. This video helps explain how farmers can easily manage their pastures effectively and inform the council of necessary actions.
